We love pets and know how hard it can be to find pet-friendly accommodations. By clicking "Request to Book" or "Instant Booking" with a pet, you agree to all of the following pet-related terms and conditions.

Please read this agreement carefully and in full before booking. All pets must be pre-approved by My Brown County Vacation LLC.

MY BROWN COUNTY VACATION LLC makes every effort to ensure that all descriptions and representations from its representatives, in our printed materials, and on our website are completely accurate. We do make periodic enhancements to properties that may not be represented exactly in photographs on our website. Prices, amenities, specials, and/or minimums are subject to change with or without notice.

Pet Rules

House Rules for Pets

All pets must be pre-approved by My Brown County Vacation LLC. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking if we are not comfortable that the house rules for pets will be observed.

  • There is a $100.00 pet fee per dog, excluding an ADA compliant Service Dog, per stay. TWO DOG LIMIT.
  • Please provide details about your pets when making your reservation.
  • Dogs must NEVER be left unattended at any time, whether or not the dog is in a kennel crate.
  • My Brown County Vacation is not responsible for dogs that may exit doors.
  • Dogs must be clean, fully house-trained, parasite free and disease free (i.e. ticks, fleas, Parvo, etc.)
  • Dogs are expected to be well behaved and non-destructive.
  • Dogs are not allowed directly on furniture, including beds. Please bring pet sheets/covers. If we detect pets' fur or other signs of pets on any furniture an additional cleaning fee will automatically be charged.
  • Please do not bathe your dog in the shower or sink.
  • Dogs must be leashed and under direct restraint at all times outside the property.
  • Always clean up after your pets. Please respect our future guests and other residents of the community by cleaning up after your pets.
  • Except for an ADA compliant Service Dog, dogs are not permitted in the hot tub area.

Fees & Fines

Pet Fees & Additional Charges

Pet parents are 100% responsible for any damage caused by their pets. The cabin is inspected and cleaned thoroughly between each guest making damage identifiable.

Responsibility

Pet Parent Responsibility

As a pet parent, you assume full responsibility for your pet's behavior and any damage caused during your stay.

  • Pet parents are 100% responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
  • The cabin is inspected and cleaned thoroughly between each guest, making damage identifiable to the immediately preceding guest.
  • My Brown County Vacation reserves the right to charge the credit card on file for any pet-related damages, excessive cleaning, or policy violations.
  • Bringing an undeclared or non-approved pet — including service or emotional support animals — may result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of all amounts paid.
Note: Pets are welcome at the 1891 Schoolhouse Inn ONLY. Pets are strictly NOT permitted at Helmsburg Homestead under any circumstances.
